Your data, plainly

This is an early pilot. Here is exactly what is collected, where it lives, how long it stays, and how to remove it.

What we store

• Your account: your email and a hashed password (the password is never stored in clear text).
• Your CV profile: a structured summary extracted from your CV (roles, skills, languages, dates). The raw CV file and its raw text are processed in memory and never stored — only the structured profile is kept.
• Tailored documents: the tailored CV and cover letter you generate for a job, so you can reopen them without regenerating.

Where it lives

Account and CV data is stored in a private database, isolated per user — another user can never see your data. It is not part of the public job dataset and is never published.

How long we keep it

• Account CVs: kept until you delete them or delete your account.

Measuring how the site is used

To learn which parts of the site are actually useful, page views are counted in aggregate. What is stored is a daily tally, not a record of your visit:

• Page counts: one row per day, page and audience group (signed out / signed in / site owner), with a number of hits. Addresses are normalised first, so a page like /match/18/2734/ is stored as /match/<id>/<id>/ — the stored form cannot point back at a person.
• Job searches: the words typed into the job search box, counted per day. They are never linked to an account — the record can say that a word was searched, never who searched it.
• Active days: if you have an account, one row per day on which it was used. Whether you open one page or four hundred, it stays a single row.

Not collected: your IP address (not hashed, not shortened, not stored at all), your browser's user agent, the site you arrived from, session identifiers, the time of any individual request — and no third-party analytics, tracking pixel or advertising network of any kind.

Aggregate counters are kept for 180 days. Active-day rows, the only ones tied to your account, are kept for 90 days — and deleting your account deletes them with it, in the same operation.

Deleting your data

From your account page you can delete your account and all data at any time — this permanently removes your profile and every tailored document, and cannot be undone.

Third parties

Your CV text is processed only to extract your profile and generate your tailored documents, by a provider hosted in Switzerland. We do not sell or share your data.

This pilot follows Swiss nLPD / EU GDPR principles — data minimisation, purpose limitation, and the right to deletion. Provided as-is during the pilot.
